Maharat is one of the Business and Export Development Project for Jordanian Enterprises-Taweer, funded by the United States Agency for International Development-USAID and managed by the Business Development Center-BDC.

Maharat is an employment and training program that aims to provide recent graduates from Jordanian universities with job opportunities and capacity building trainings.

Maharat graduates are trained by highly qualified practitioners on subjects carefully selected and especially tailored for Maharat interns based on market demand. The training Maharat interns receive is not traditional but innovative and involving. During the program, interns are exposed to activities enhancing their team spirit, interpersonal skills and the ability to be professional and efficient. The material being taught is constantly up dated to ensure that Maharat graduates are up to date with all current and new trends in the job market.
